Dr. Parchman conducted the autopsy of Samuel Petrey

In the following testimony you will easily notice how much smoother the testimony is under the cross examination of a different prosecutor. You will also read how prosecutor Al Schorre of Midland had to go back and re-do and correct the mess ups of the East Texas prosecutor RICK BERRY.

Several unique factors stand out in the testimony of Dr. Parchman. She speaks of Samuel Petrey still having his hand in his pocket when he was shot.

David Page stated all through the trial that Clinton told Samuel Petrey “Sorry Sam, you know too much and you got to die, and then he aimed the weapon and shot Samuel Petrey.” This simply defies all logic and understanding of human reaction. If someone tells you they are going to kill you and then pulls out a weapon, would you just stand there with your hand in your pocket smoking a cigarette like you don’t have a care in the world? No one would! It simply makes no sense and shows how David Page fabricated his story to blame Clinton for the murder.

You will also notice that the Dr. makes mention of the gunshot residue found on Samuel Petrey which indicates exactly how close the shooter was from the victim.

David Page, due to his fingerprints being found on the truck admitted that he was standing at the rear of the truck by the tail light.

David Page always said that Clinton was up near the cab of the truck. Page said a distance of 6-10 feet. However the actual distance of where Clinton was standing compared to the victim was 8-11 feet. As the vehicle was a full size chevrolet truck, with an extended cab. You will also notice that Mr. Petrey was found with over $200 in cash on him.

David Page in his own words admits that only he could have been the shooter due to the location of where he was standing. The weapon he was in possession of was about 10 inches long. Samuel Petrey was standing a foot to a foot and a half directly behind the trailer hitch in the middle of the bumper of the truck. With David Page standing at the right rear of the tail light, that would put David page 4-41/2 feet from the victim. When you add in arm length of and the length of the pistol , that would place the end of the barrel of the weapon between six inches to a foot away from the victim. Which is the exact distance that Dr. Townsend estimates the weapon had to be held! Making it clear that Clinton could not have been the shooter. This fact is made clearer in Mr. Ernest’s report. The reason the attorney’s bring up the issue of blood splatter with Dr. Townsend is because none was found.
